Evelyn Gavilondo, AIA, plays a pivotal role within our company, spearheading the planning and creation of architectural designs for all our projects. As a Florida Licensed Architect specializing in high-end residential coastal construction, she brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the table. Evelyn holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from Princeton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from The Cooper Union. She is also a distinguished member of the American Institute of Architecture. 

Her primary focus within the company is to seamlessly guide projects from the Schematic Design phase through to the completion of the Permit Phase. Evelyn’s dedication to efficiency and effectiveness has been instrumental in our team’s success, securing permits for Sunland Group’s key projects and guiding their construction observation phase. Beyond the tangible accomplishments, Evelyn finds great fulfillment in witnessing the completed homes and the continuous growth and development of her team. Her work philosophy centers on collaborative achievements, driving our team towards architectural excellence.

Roger Contreras holds a pivotal position at Sunland Architectural Design LLC, serving as Design Architect. With a Master’s degree in project BIM Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Roger plays a crucial role in coordinating and executing projects. Beyond architectural design and coordination, he contributes to building code analysis, construction document production, BIM modeling, and direct engagement with the construction team and subcontractors. He is also an Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Architectural Design and Mechanical Design.

Within Sunland Architectural Design LLC, Roger is instrumental in synthesizing architectural production to ensure the seamless implementation of ideas and construction solutions on-site. He places great emphasis on effective communication, fostering collaboration both internally within the Sunland Architectural Design LLC team and externally with partners to ensure project success. Under Roger’s leadership, the team has achieved significant milestones, including delivering multiple multimillion-dollar homes to consumers, obtaining project approvals from multiple municipalities throughout South Florida, and establishing communication and operational protocols that enhance project efficiency.

Paola Nieto brings her design expertise to Sunland Architectural Design by crafting and designing architectural plans, while also providing customizable interior design solutions for the company’s high-end developments. As a Design Architect, she contributes to design concepts, schematic development, material selection, and project coordination. Paola graduated with Cum Laude distinction from the Universidad de los Andes, Venezuela, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, bringing over more than ten years of extensive international experience to her role.

In her key role at Sunland Architectural Design, Paola occupies a pivotal position, aiding in the design and permitting of the company’s top-tier projects. She demonstrates excellence in adeptly coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and construction materials, and staying informed about current industry trends. Paola maintains stringent ethical and professional standards, constantly refining work procedures to elevate production efficiency.
